About

I am a senior full-stack software engineer with over a decade's experience in commercial software development. My interest in coding began during a degree in Physics, in which I focussed on computational projects such as modelling the propagation and interaction of light pulses in fibre optic cables, and modelling a binary star system. After graduating I joined a small company creating custom software, which gave me with the opportunity to learn and develop all aspects of software development. Since 2016, I have been self-employed working for startups and established companies around the world, both independently and with engineering teams, with particular responsibility for the design, development, testing and delivery of software projects.
